Request for information
Usually sent by email, the Request for Information (RFI) enables you to communicate the preliminary description of your needs and gather further information on related web services. Contact options for such request are detailed in the right hand side box. Please note that a Request for Proposal (RFP) should be used for complex web project.
Mutual non-disclosure agreement
This document allows both parties of a potential transaction to share confidential information. The recipient of the information is obligated to keep it confidential and not use it for any purpose other than the evaluation of the proposed transaction.
Functional specifications
This detailed document is a formal description of the web project that is used as a blueprint for implementing the web site. At minimum, these specifications should precisely state the purpose of the web site. Depending on the methodology used, the functional specifications might also provide implementation details, such as how the project is divided into modules and how the different modules interact. In addition, these specifications often describes the web project from the user's perspective.
Proposal
Based on your functional specifications, a simple, clear and objective written proposal is presented to you. It is the basis for a successful web outsourcing project and an on-going relationship for both parties.
Web services agreement
Once the proposal has been discussed, reviewed, and accepted, the web services agreement is signed by both parties. This thorough and legally enforceable written contract and its annexes help clarify each party's rights and obligations, limits the liability of the parties, and ensures that both parties get the expected services and payments.
